Our Founder
Born in Bandırma in 1958, Mehmet Hakkı ÇAKIR started his career in excavation and later expanded into transportation and chemical marketing. As a result of his successful work in these areas, he has been recognized as a respected businessman in Bandırma for many years.
About Us
ÇAKIR ASİT Ltd. Şti., which provides chemical sales, transportation, and storage services, was established in 1983. Despite changes in management and registry numbers over time, it continues to complete its tasks with the same determination and ambition as the day it was founded. It has a current area of 20,000 m² open space with 6,000 m³ liquid storage and 2,000 m² closed area.
Transportation
ÇAKIR ASİT provides services with its own fleet of trucks and trailers. Our vehicles comply with ADR standards and we conduct shipments with 2017 model and newer vehicles under our model strategy. For liquid chemical transportation, we have trailers and ISO tank equipment designed for closed-loop filling systems with capacities of 16,000 Lt, 20,000 Lt, 22,000 Lt, 24,000 Lt, 26,000 Lt, 28,000 Lt, 30,000 Lt, and 36,000 Lt.
Storage
At our central facility in Bandırma, located 12 kilometers from the port, we have 6,000 m³ steel tanks suitable for chemical storage, providing uninterrupted service 24/7. Additionally, with our 2,500 m³ polyethylene and polyester storage tanks, we handle the storage and handling of hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and ferric chloride.
